Green Light are currently looking for a skilled Kafka / Java Developer to join our technical delivery team in Sydney. The Kafka / Java Developer will support upcoming works and projects. You will work across multiple Kafka components, and this role requires experience in Kafka and strong Java Development skills.
Responsibilities- Java Development.
- Kafka application and connector development.
- Building and maintaining custom Kafka connectors and Kafka connector transformer libraries to upgrade existing connectors and applications to newer Kafka client versions, and rewrite/refactor where needed.
- Apache Kafka, including Kafka Streams applications
- Strong proficiency in Java (core and advanced features).
- Familiarity with middleware platforms and API integration (REST, JSON, etc.).
- Experience with Spring Boot, Docker, or Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
