Summary:
The Client is seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Backend Java Developer to join our Profile Platform team. The Profile Platform team's mission is to connect our customers with our many experiences in a safe and secure way. We provide user account life-cycle services and solutions to make the management of our customer's personal and/or business identity with company efficient and secure.
Hands on Java Programming Expertise (Core Java, J2EE, Spring framework) Hands on Building Restful Services. Follow coding and design best practices Experience working on SQL, NoSQL solutions with clear understanding of pros and cons of both relational & free form databases. Solid understanding of algorithms and data structures, knowledge of object oriented design, Design Patterns and multi-threaded programming Strong OOP skills, with ability to analyze requirements and transform into scalable software designs. Experience with HTTP, REST API's and competent designing and building web services/micro-services in a commercial setting.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the development and quality deliverables for Profile Management platform services utilizing Java, C++, REST APIs, Oracle SQLs and Java coding techniques.
- Participate in the design and development of one or more product features or sub-systems
- Produce code that is sufficiently supported by unit tests
- Develop and maintain technical documentation related to the project
- Participate in architecture discussions and understand solutions to system and product changes within the team
- Participate in demonstration of completed work to stakeholders
- Supporting client teams by answering questions
- Supporting live applications in production
- Participate in peer code reviews
- Triage and solve live issues
- Defect fixes and enhancements
- Perform Data Correction
- Participate fully in all scrum team activities
Basic Qualifications:
- 6 to 8 years of planning, designing, and development experience
- Must have a BS or MS/PhD Degree in Computer Sciences or equivalent
- Strong knowledge in Java programming, REST APIs, Databases
